Taking Baby Steps

The other day I spoke about frustrations. I am prepared to help take baby steps in fixing the situation. Here is my suggestion to our Service Unit Manager and Council Rep.

Create a SU website. I said I would take on that task. This would be a central location where people could find information regarding up coming events, meeting, etc. Not only would a calendar be posted there but we could post pictures. I am also toying with the idea of Troops having websites/blog whatever connected there.

Yesterday afternoon I did a search to find other service unit websites. I compiled a list and sent them to our SUM. I didn’t necessarily like the look of these websites I just thought it would give up some ideas of things to add. In addition, we would give us some ideas of things we could do to make our area better.

Here is the list I sent:

HI!
I am a leader in Massachusetts. Our SU has a website and also a yahoo group. The yahoo group works really well - we can post files and flyers, email the whole group, etc.
We also have a public website for news: www.bedfordhanscomgs.org
